The calendar for the 46 accredited public colleges of education has been released by the National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF).
The published academic calendar states that Level 400 Teacher Trainees will begin Macro-Teaching at their various attached schools that have been listed.
2022/2023 Academic Calendar for Colleges of Education
Level 400 students will report to their various schools of attachment for Macro-Teaching. The attachment will be done for twelve (12) weeks starting from 20th January 2023.
Both Levels; 100 and 200 students will report for their 1st Semester (9 and 5 weeks respectively) – 23rd January, 2023.
Level 300 students will report to campus for their 2 Semester which will last for five (5) weeks starting on 25th February, 2023.
Level 200 students will break for first phase of 1st Semester on 25th February, 2023.
Inter-Semester Break has been slated to last for five (5) weeks – From 2st April, 2023 through to 7th May, 2023.
Both Levels; 100 and 200 students will report to college/campus for their second phase of 1st Semester (4 weeks and 8 weeks respectively) on 7th May, 2023.
Level 100 will sit for their End-of-First Semester Examination from 22nd May, 2023 – 2nd June, 2023.
The semester will go down for Level 100 students on 3rd June, 2023.
Level 400 students will report to college/campus for their first phase of 2nd Semester (5 weeks) on 3rd June, 2023.
Level 200 students will sit for their End-of-First Semester Examinations – From 19th June, 2023 – 30th June, 2023.
The semester will go down for Level 200 on 1st July, 2023.
Level 300 students will report to college/campus for second phase of 1st Semester (8 weeks) on 2nd July, 2023.
Level 400 students will now break for first phase of 2nd Semester on July 8, 2023.
Level 100 students will report to college/campus for 2nd Semester (12 weeks) on 16th July, 2023.
Level 300 students will sit for their End-of-First Semester Examinations from 14th August 2023 through to 25th August 2023.
The semester will go down for Level 300 students on 26th August, 2023.
Level 300 students will report to their various schools of attachment for Micro-Teaching on 28th August 2023. It will last for 6 weeks.
Level 200 students will report to college/campus for first phase of 2nd Semester – 27th August, 2023 to 28th August, 2023. They will stay on campus for six (6) weeks.
Level 100 students will sit for End-of-Second Semester Examinations from 2nd October 2023 to 6th October 2023.
The semester will go down for Level 100 students on 3rd October 2023.
Level 200 students will break for first phase of 2nd Semester on 7th October, 2023.
Both Levels; 300 and 400 students will report to college/campus for their second phase of 2nd Semester (7 and 5 weeks respectively) on 8th October, 2023.
Level 400 students will sit for their End-of-Second Semester Examinations from 6th November, 2023 to 10th November, 2023.
Finally, Level 400 students will be out of college system on 11th November, 2023.
Level 200 students will report for second phase of 2nd Semester (6 weeks) on 12th November, 2023.
Level 300 students will sit for their End-of-Second Semester Examinations – 20th November to 24th November 2023.
The semester will go down for Level 300 students on 25th November 2023.
Level 200 students will sit their
End-of-Second Semester Examinations from 18th December 2023 to 22nd December 2023.
The semester will go down for Level 200 Students on 23rd December 2023.
The calendar ends with vacation – 23rd December 2023.
