Accra Technical Training Center (ATTC) is a technical/professional facility located in Accra, Ghana. ATTC was established in July 1966 as a joint project between the governments of Ghana and Canada. Intended as a training school to train skilled workers for Ghana’s industrial needs, it was the first major Canadian support to Ghana in technical education and training. ATTC trains workers for a variety of occupations and trades. The school is now under the Technical Division of the Ghana Education Service, Ministry of Education.
In the early of 1960s, Arnold Doyle, Saskatchewan’s Director of Vocational and Technical Education, leaded by a guide a feasibility study to establish a technical school in Ghana. It was sponsored by the Canadian Foreign Aid Agency. Doyle became the Canadian coordinator for the ATTC project. The Ghanaian counterpart was Frank Hatchful, who was then Ghana’s Education Officer and Chief Technical Education Officer. ATTC he opened in July 1966. The ceremony was attended by Donald S. Macdonald and A.K. Deku, who at the time was an Education Commissioner for the National Liberation Council (NLC) Government, which represents the Government of Ghana and it is being headed by
Mr. arc Aku Dometey since July 2019. It is a high school which is solely a day school moving with the motto ‘Training Industry Progress’ the institution is active and enrolled for boys and it’s enrollment is yearly.

Since 1994, ATTC has run two-week short courses for industry. It was created with the support of the French government. Courses include hydraulics, industrial electrical, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers, refrigeration, welding, and meteorology (World Bank, 2014).
