Bsc Mathematics Knust Admission and Entry Requirements /BSc Mathematics KNUST requirements
WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants
Credits in WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), plus THREE (3) Electives in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Elective Mathematics.
Advanced Level Certificate Applicants
FIVE (5) credit passes at GCE O’Level including English Language, Mathematics and Elective Mathematics plus THREE passes at the A’ level including Mathematics.
Mature Applicants
Mature applicants must have attained the age of 25 years or above at the time of submitting the application and in addition must pass a written and oral Examination where the applicant must have either:FIVE (5) credit passes at GCE O’Level (or its equivalent) including English Language, Mathematics and Elective Mathematics.
OR
Credit passes in Three (3) WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science, plus credits in any Three (3) Elective subjects including Elective Mathematics.
HND Applicants
Applicants that also meet any of the above requirements will be admitted into year two. They are also expected to pass an interview. A’ Level Applicants FIVE(5) credits at O’Level including Mathematics and English Language plus THREE (3) A Level passes in any of the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Zoology or Botany and Mathematics.
