In accordance with the most recent instruction from the GES, which was stated in a press release, the verification of school choices starts for 2022 BECE graduates. Parents/guardians, the general public, and all JHS students who took the 2022 BECE and are awaiting results and school placement into SHS are asked to be aware of the procedure for validating the school selections.

When completed, the verification process for school selections for BECE graduates in 2022 would allow graduates and their parents to determine whether the institutions they chose are still listed in the data system used by the Ghana Education Service and its partners.
The schools from which a candidate is put will be those that have been recorded for that candidate in the data base.
The verification of school preferences for BECE graduates in 2022 is not intended to allow for school switching. Prior to placement, the verification will also enable students to validate their school preferences.
The CSSPS, which includes the website https://csspsverify.com and USSD short code number 89988# with a four-digit token number, will send SMS messages to parents and/or guardians, per the GES. The receiver will need to use these details to access their information in the GES database regarding the school choices that were recorded for them.
The verification of the schools that 2022 BECE graduates plan to attend begins on January 14 and ends on January 22.

Parents and guardians should contact the GES at 0556541525 if there are any discrepancies or differences between the data collected and the schools actually chosen for the student, or they can use the edit button on the web portal after their selection details have been displayed alongside a copy of the original selection form. Students can also send an email to cssps2021@gmail.com along with a copy of the original selection form.
