BOABENG KWAME known in the industry as Boabeng is a Ghanaian Celebrity blogger, Freelance journalist, Social media activist, Reporter, Cornerman, Businessman, and Accountant. He founded Hypegh Multimedia Group, Hypeghnewsroom.com, an entertainment website, and blog that primarily publishes news about Ghanaian celebrities, Knustnoticeboard.info which aims at providing KNUST related and educational contents to students and a United Kingdom based media Sportshighlights.co.uk. He graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in MATHEMATICS. While at KNUST, He was appointed as the KNUST SRC Publicity Head under the 2018/2019 administration.
Early life
He was born and comes from Ejura Sekyeredumasi to a mother Philomena Asare and his father Osei Tutu . Boabeng is born into a family of four,two boys and two girls and he is the second child.
Education
Boabeng Kwame attended supreme Saviour JHS at Tanoso and further went Asanteman SHS after passing BECE successfully. At Asanteman Senior High School, he was elected as the Main Prep Prefect and also the SRC Organizing Secretary.He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) where he was appointed as the Src Publicity Head in 2018. After graduating from KNUST, Boabeng completed his National Service Secretariat (NSS) programme at Account Office at National Service Scheme Head Office,Accra,2019-2020.
Career
Considering the followers he had gained during his previous election in KNUST,2017, he came up with a brilliant idea to create a platform to share information with the initial name , BC show( Boabeng Cares Show). Later in 2018, the name was changed to HypeGH because of its increasing popularity due to the credibility of its information and is now known as the HypeGh Multimedia Group. HypeGh Multimedia Group is made of Hypeghnewsroom.com, HypeGh Tv , Trends Connect, and HypeGh Newspapers. Since its inception, the website has found innovative ways to reach readers across the globe.
In 2019, he founded Knust Notice Board,Knustnoticeboard.info which deals with educational content and Knust-related activities. KNUST Notice Board in 2022 won Campus Media House of the Year in Ghana.
After his National Service, he was appointed as KIP MACGRAF Deputy Manager in Ghana in 2020.
In 2021, He joins GBAFRICA media where he was appointed as the general manager for the brand.
Personal life
Boabeng is single and hasn’t married before.
