The program which started on Friday at 6pm on the 21st of July 2023 at the KNUST community centre is the Dinner and award program for the faculty of Arts students at KNUST.
As the academic year was coming to an end, the immediate past president, Abraham Assuming, and his executives including his vice president, Bruce Sampson saw to it that, there must be an entertainment program that will release the noble students of the Arts society from the academic stress they have been through in the cause of the year hence, the organization of the dinner and award program( grand ball).

It was an interesting program that saw too many fun activities aside from the plaques given to those who won in their various categories. There was questions and answers section whereby questions about the Art faculty which comprises Publishing studies, Communication design, Ceramics, Painting and Sculpture, Fashion and Textiles, Metals Technology, and Integrated Rural Arts and Industry (IRAI) just to mention a few were asked and gifts were given to those who answered correctly. First, in its kind, the main organizer Abraham Assuming ensured that there was a live band by Derrick and his team with all the hits songs which entertained the students very well as they danced to the tune of the melodious music. Attendees were also given a chance to take as many pictures as they wanted on the red carpet with whomever or whatever they wanted.

It was a fantastic time to watch the singles get taken on as couples and to protect the already-made couples and spend the time together amidst laughter and joy and all the hype going on for them. As a dinner show, it can’t be possible without food and drink so food and drink were in abundance as you laughed and drank with your friends and made new memories with them.
