CoHSS – KNUST President Launches The Maiden Cohsstrepreneurship Hub 2022
As promised by the KOVOR -KODUA led administration , giant strides have been made in building the next generation’s capacity and bridging the gap between academia and industry to enable CoHSS students to be empowered and equipped to achieve their fullest potential.
In line with this powerful ideology, the first phase of COHSSTREPRENEURSHIP HUB was launched yesterday, 26th March 2022, at the E-Block, KSB.
The commemoration was done by the President of the College, Master Richard Kovor who is affectionately called Dr. K.
He expansively discussed what would take place over the next month and informed those in attendance of their roles and objectives in ensuring the project was successful.
The President officially launched the HUB before handing it over to one of the Hub’s senior managers who introduced the first part of a training- COHSSTREPRENEURSHIP HUB.
In attendance was Mr Alexander Tawiah, the CEO of Thriller News GH, and professional cinematography and Graphic editor. He shared his rich knowledge in the field and educated the participants in a more practical, extensive and comprehensive approach to cinematography editing, during which participants were made to practice on their LAPTOPS and some on the BIG SCREEN as well.
In interviews with CoHSS Media, participants expressed their satisfaction and gratitude to the leadership of the college for such impactful programs.
Most participants revealed how the Project has been a game-changer in their lives as they were equipped with a more comprehensive way of facing the job market as opposed to the theory-based aspect of education they have always known… Even with the unprecedented traction, the executives of the college assured the entire members of CoHSS KNUST that, yesterday’s program was just an introduction to the One Month Intensive COHSSTREPRENEURSHIP Project . They therefore encouraged all students of the college to tap into this project and become COHSSTREPRENEURS in Knust’s new age and beyond.
