How To Apply for Ghana Police Service Recruitment 2021

Ghana Police Service has once again opened its portal to recruit new members to serve mother Ghana. Below are general requirements to follow in order to be recruited into the service, where to get the Ghana police service recruitment 2021 forms, recruitment portal and others.

General Requirements For Ghana Police Recruitment

All Applicants shall satisfy these requirements in addition to the specific requirement for a specific category. An Applicant must:

a. be a Ghanaian by birth;

b. be of good character;

c. be without criminal records;

d. not have been dismissed from any public service or any other employment;

e. not be more than the age stated for a specific category by 01/12/2021

f. be at least 5 feet 8 inches (173cm) tall for males and 5 feet 4 inches (163cm) for females;

g. be physically and medically fit by Ghana Police Service standards;

h. have active e-mail account and mobile phone number;

i. possess BECE Certificate

j. be ready to undergo basic Police training and other forms of training;

k. graduate applicants must have completed National Service.

GRADUATES (GENERAL DUTY)

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

All Applicants shall satisfy these requirements in addition to the specific requirement for a specific category. An Applicant must:

a. be a Ghanaian by birth;

b. be of good character;

c. be without criminal records;

d. not have been dismissed from any public service or any other employment;

e. not be more than the age stated for a specific category by 01/12/2021

f. be at least 5 feet 8 inches (173cm) tall for males and 5 feet 4 inches (163cm) for females;

g. be physically and medically fit by Ghana Police Service standards;

h. have active e-mail account and mobile phone number;

i. possess BECE Certificate

j. be ready to undergo basic Police training and other forms of training;

k. graduate applicants must have completed National Service.

In addition to the general requirements, an Applicant who applies to this category must satisfy the requirements stated under the specific sub-category

How To Apply for Ghana Police Service

1. CLICK APPLY NOW

Click Apply Now.

2. CREATE ACCOUNT

Provide official name, active email address and applicant mobile phone number as used to purchase the voucher. If purchasing for someone, ensure you use the applicants exact phone number. The purchased Voucher is not transferable;

3. CONFIRMATION

A page will open, which will require the Applicant to CONFIRM VOUCHER. Verify the Voucher purchased by entering the Serial Number and PIN and submit.

4. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Create a profile. To create a profile, enter your personal details such as your name, date of birth, age, height, nationality, etc

5. CATEGORY

Choose your preferred category.

6. EDUCATION

Enter your educational background information

7. PASSPORT PICTURE

Upload a passport picture of yourself.

8. SUMMARY

Applicant should ensure that all information submitted is accurate. Review your information on the summary page by reading through the summary page carefully. Click on the EDIT button if there are any changes to be made. You may also SAVE your entries by clicking on the SUBMIT button. If you want to return to the page later to edit or continue with the entries, click on the LOG OUT button, or submit your application.

9. GENERATE DECISION

Submit your application by clicking on the GENERATE YOUR DECISION button to complete the first stage of the application process. Once the GENERATE YOUR DECISION button is clicked, you cannot make any changes to the Application Form. The decision on the Application will show on the screen either as QUALIFIED  for an Applicant who has qualified for the next stage of the application process or NOT QUALIFIED for an Applicant who has been disqualified. The reasons for disqualification will be displayed on the page. Print and keep a copy of the generated report as you will be required to present it at the next stage of physical screening. An instant message will be sent to you by text message, which reveals a tracking number for qualified Applicants.
