Stress can be defined as the emotional strain that we face as humans. We are all victims of stress at some point in our lives. It bites one person, probes another, and devours the third. Anxiety, on the other hand, is a state of mind. People become concerned and anxious about a variety of topics on a daily basis, from the most minor to the most serious. In some cases, it is more severe.

Stress and anxiety have many symptoms as it affects everyone differently. In all people, as said before, stress develops at different points in time. Examples of such symptoms include:

The most important thing to do when you are under stress is to relax and breathe. Lie back and breathe. Clear your mind and think about nothing. Relaxing your body through music and yoga help to relieve stress and reduce anxiety one may be facing.

Laugh

The popular adage, Laughter is the best medicine, is greatly centered on here. Laughing when even things may seem bleak and weary definitely lightens up your damp mood and even helps you forget for a while. Your stress may be relieved to a point. So whenever you are under stress, pull up some funny videos and laugh away the stress.

Writing is also a great way of relieving stress and anxiety. It is essential that you have a special journal for this. As your pen touches the paper, let all of that emotional and mental pressure fade and reappear trapped in your journal by ink. Writing down everything in your journal greatly helps clearing your head up and giving you peace.

Exercise

Though it may seem odd, exercising is a great way of relieving stress and anxiety. As you burn the calories, you also burn away all the negativity breeding within you keeping your mind and body active.It also helps boost your confidence as well as your sleep.

Solitude

Solitude to a specific level helps to relive you of your stress and anxiety. Away from everything lies a place only you can reach. Take full advantage and be alone for a while. Clear your head and come back refreshed and ready to battle.

Spending Time With People

Stress and anxiety can be allivated by hanging out with people, especially your friends and family. All forms of these cankers disappear while you find yourself spending time with people special to you as they help to erase them and make you feel better.
