Independence Hall Elect New Executives For 2021/2022 Accademic Year
Yesterday, 17th June 2021, elections were held in Independence Hall to elect the new group of personalities to take charge of the administration of the hall. Independence Hall, popularly known as ‘Indece’, held its elections on the dining hall of the hall.
From nine in the morning, students trooped into the election center in their numbers to vote for their preferred candidates.

Within and outside the hall stood the people with banners giving shouts of encouragement towards the candidates. Throughout the day, voting went on without any problems from both the students and the Electoral Commission (EC).
The aspirants were another deal altogether. Some were confident and others had anxiety gnawing their insides waiting for the outcome of the results.
At six in the evening, the polls were closed and the votes were counted.
At the end of the elections, the following people were elected as the new leaders of Independence Hall:
- Women’s Comissioner: Daniella N. A. Quaye
- Welfare Chairman: Isaac Asare
- Financial Secretary: Ebenezer Darko
- General Secretary: Hannah Newman
- President: Justice Nkrumah Preprah
