Knust Src Continues Ministry of Finance’ Financial Literacy Series on Campus
The Ministry of Finance started a statewide financial literacy and awareness campaign in 2015 to support the Ghanaian government’s comprehensive financial inclusion policy.
The KNUST SRC has a great interest in this campaign in our bid to promote financial inclusion in our part of the community. Campaigns concerning saving money in a safe and recognized institution, how to plan and prioritize with money, the do’s and don’t concerning savings and loans will be aired.
To make sure the students are in good financial standings, the KNUST SRC will see to it that symposiums will be organized for students to elucidate them on how to make money whiles in school, how to appropriately save money towards the future, and other innovative ways of making money.
The introduction of symposiums on stocks exchange, investments, forex trading, and others will help equip students to gain extra knowledge on making extra income.
