As part of plans to improve upon welfare of students, the KNUST SRC through it’s Women’s Commission paid a visit to the KNUST Counselling Centre, to have a consultative dialogue on students who had tabled concerns to them for support.
The Counsellors shared with the commission, the high turnout of applicants of the KBN and Bursary interviews this year and iterated concerns most especially of students who through KBN and Bursary interviews, needed urgent support while awaiting the list of Beneficiaries.
The many welfare plans of the SRC were made known to the counsellors as the Women’s Commissioner equally assured them of the SRC’s support on these emergency matters tabled to the centre.

The Womens commissioner finally pressed the need for such long term collaboration of the KCC and the SRC in improving the welfare of students while impacting the lives of special students.
