Who wins SRC presidential election 2021?
“Where there is no vision, the people perish”, rightly as the adage goes. For this reason KNUST seeks to appoint students to take leadership positions for the progress of the school.
Since the 7th of June 2021, elections has been and still is the headline for almost every conversation on campus, as it is conducted in the various halls through the various departments, faculties to the colleges.
Amid the joyful songs of some candidates for their victory, there has been the pitiful remark of ‘better luck next time and all is well’ for many others who lost.
Crowning it all will be the Student Representative Council (SRC) presidential race. With tensions rising, murmurings everywhere, it has become difficult to predict who wins the SRC presidential 2021.
Daniel Silas Kwabena Acquah Jnr popularly known as DSK picks Andy Amankwah as his running mate for the 2021 SRC elections. The former Unity Hall(Conti) president believes he has more to offer KNUST; that the story of the SRC can be rewritten. He goes with the mantra: Believe-let’s rewrite .
Kelvin Abban also selects the Great Mohammed Ali as his running mate. They proclaim the good news that “we are the Voice for You .”
Micheal Abuah , the former College of Science president together with Reginald Amo comes in with much faith, “the Faith to Finish” They believe that it is not over.
Frankly speaking, the determination of Frank Owusu is keen towards the possible . He says ” Impossible is Nothing “. He together with Louis Ahenkorah seeks to lead the SRC.
Last but not least among them is Jude Sabutey who is poised to take responsibility with Joshua Loglo as running mate to represent students at the highest pinnacle. They go with the mantra: ” a Charge to Keep“
So the question asked again, who wins the SRC presidential election 2021? Who will be chosen by the people to work for the people?
