Adorable Photos of St. Augustine’s College Uniform ; St. Augustine’s College in Cape Coast, Ghana, is an all-male boarding academic institution. In 1930, the school was founded in Amissano, a village near Elmina. The Roman Catholic school was founded to function as a seminary and training college.
St. Augustine of Hippo (354–430 AD) is the patron saint of the school. The college’s motto is Omnia Vincit Labor, which means “Perseverance Conquers All.” There are 11 houses at the school.
In the WAEC exams, the pupils are among the top performers. The National Science and Mathematics Quiz has twice been won by St. Augustine’s College. 2007 and 2019 winners.
The college won the National Science and Mathematics Quiz in 2007, and two of the three candidates from the school represented Ghana. The West African Science and Mathematics Quizzes were won by Team Three.
