The Personality Of The Leading Cohss Presidential Candidate Revealed; Meet Dziwornu Richard Kovor (DR. K)
Master DZIWORNU RICHARD KOVOR, who is affectionately called Dr. K is a second year student of English at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the leading Presidential Candidate for College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CoHSS) 2021 presidential race.
Dr. K who led the CoHSS – KNUST 2021 vetting is an affiliate to UNITY HALL and a member of APOSA – KNUST. His striking personality stems from his humility, selflessness and praiseworthy leadership qualities.
Master Richard Kovor attended both basic and junior high schools. He exhibited exceptional leadership qualities in these stages and later attained admission into Ziope senior high school in 2016.
Dr. K’s unmatched qualities as a class leader got to the attention of the school’s administration, which propelled his appointment to serve on the school’s disciplinary committee. This was the first time a first year student had earned such a position in the school. A thoroughly research about him shows he is a man of strong moral principles with striking personality.
Later in his years in SHS, he served as the Senior Prefect and double as the SRC president of the school and was awarded the Most Outstanding Student in Academics during the 2018/2019 SRC week celebration of the school.
Master Kovor’s admission into KNUST meant many things, one being his natural disposition to serve the University community, which is why he continued his service to the core philosophy in first year serving as a course representative at the department of English. He was a member of the Organizing Committee, Faculty of Social Science (SOCIOSO-KNUST).
Master Richard was also the Academic Board Vice Chairman, Association of students of English (ASEK) – Department of English, KNUST and a member of the 17th & 18th Parliament, Knust Students’ Parliament House (KSPH).
His undying love for service was admired and seen by many across the faculty and Knust at large as he has been engaging with Teaching Assistants to help students solve problems they encountered in their academics and the distribution of reading materials to students in the University.
His Leadership skills in the University earned him the award as the Freshers Most Promising Studnets Leader in the KNUST EMINENCE AWARDS, 2019. This prestigious Award motivated and inspired him to continue his good works.
Master Richard Kovor has great human relations and public speaking skills. In his free time, he loves to spend time with friends and loved ones and listen to some good music.
